Position Title: Embedded Developer, multiple positions
Job Description: Capture requirements and design functional modules using DOORS and Rhapsody. Develop software modules in Linux OS for cellular chipset families. Design and develop Linux-based SDK using Embedded C and C++. RFC bring-up for cellular chipsets. Multi-thread applications using Interprocess communication (IPC) like D-Bus. Conduct end-to-end product development cycle in Agile methodology using JIRA and architectural tools like UML. Develop test automation scripts in Linux using shell and python scripting. Perform static code analysis using Klockwork, cppchecker to capture memory leaks and other code vulnerabilities to comply with coding guidelines such as MISRA. Perform dynamic memory analysis, critical crash debugging using JTAG, Trace-32, QXDM, QCAT, GDB. Conduct code reviews, unit testing to ensure software quality and code version controlling using GIT/Perforce.
Job Requirements: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a related field; and 2 years experience in the job offered or in a related field such as IT analyst, computer programmer, programmer analyst, developer, C++ developer, or an IT field. Prior experience must include knowledge and skills in embedded C, C++, SHELL scripting development in LINUX, functional analysis for cellular chips using JTAG, TRACE32, GDB, QXDM, QCAT and memory optimization.
Work Location: Sterling, VA & other unanticipated client locations in the US. May require relocations.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
Hours: 9 AM to 6 PM
Location: Sterling, VA and other unanticipated locations throughout the US. Candidate may be required to relocate to client locations for projects.
